HOMEGROWN and top non-life insurance firm Corporate Guarantee (CG) of the Laus Group of Companies pitched in to the relief operations of non-profit organization Center for Emergency Aid, Rehabilitation and Development (Concern) Inc. by turning over to the group’s officials a check donation on Thursday, December 16, 2020.
CG, as part of its yearly commitment plans, participates in a corporate social responsibility activity in conjunction with CLTV Lingap Foundation.
The sponsorship will benefit some 150 marginalized families in Macabebe and Masantol towns affected by the recent typhoons from the relief operations to be conducted on December 22.
The actual relief operation will take place on December 22 in the said towns, where an approximate 150 marginalized families combined will benefit.
According to CG Marketing Head Adrian A. Laus, the sponsorship is a way of carrying out its CSR.

“This sponsorship is towards helping communities especially during the unprecedented times of the pandemic and the recent typhoons. This is our way of helping communities in the countryside,” he said.
For his part, CG Chief Operating Officer Carmelo B. Alabado noted that such CSR is deeply rooted in the legacy of LausGroup Founder Levy P. Laus.
“Our founder has left us with such a legacy. He has always said that as we at CG grow, we should always share our blessings and continue to help communities in need,” he said.
Meanwhile, Concern Inc. Executive Director Macelinda Cepe thanked CG for its donation and sponsorship. “Thank you Corporate Guarantee for the sponsorship. Together with our other partners, this will go a long way in our ‘pamaskong handog’ relief operations.” (JTD)
