TIRE CITY DAU over the weekend celebrated 30 years of excellent customer service, growing from its roots with partner Yokohama Tires.
Founded by LausGroup Chairman and Founder Levy P. Laus three decades ago as LPLaus Marketing, Tire City, dealing primarily with TBA or Tires, Batteries and Accessories, rapidly evolved and transformed itself to meet the growing demands of a multi-brand sector for expert, excellent services that went beyond TBA.
The evolution thus, to Tire City Yokohama Dau 30 years after, would be a mark among discriminating motorists and car owners, as it rolled out a complete array of services: from tyres to under chassis and wheel alignments, brakes, cooling system checks to electrical works.
All these guaranteed by Tire City’s team of well-trained service technicians, who make sure every customers’ vehicle that comes out of its service bays are running right and in top condition.
Plus, the partnership with Yokohama—an institution like the LausGroup itself—has earned the trust and confidence of the auto industry—where it serves and keeps clients fully satisfied.
Said LausAutoGroup Executive Director Levy Adrian A. Laus: “That is why we lasted this long because we offer services that are truly LausGroup. The guiding principle of providing excellent customer service has been in our DNA. This is through the relentless effort of my father, our beloved Founder, Levy P. Laus”.
“To date, Yokohama Pampanga offers a comprehensive product portfolio of tires with advance design technology. It also offers aftersales service which includes under chassis, wheel alignment, break/ engine troubleshooting, aircon, tire rotation/ balancing and others. All these guaranteed by Tire City’s team of well-trained service technicians, who make sure every customers’ vehicle that comes out of its service bays are running right and in top condition,” he added.
For her part, Laus Group of Companies Chairman and CEO Lisset Laus-Velasco said it is important to look back at Tire City’s humble beginnings.
“Ang hindi marunong lumingon sa pinaggalingan, ay hindi makararating sa paroroonan,” she said, recalling it was at Tire City where she got her first training and started her career as a cashier.
“For a business to stay for five or ten years is already an achievement and Tire City Dau is so blessed to have survived and flourished for the 30 years and we are here to stay.”
In return, Yokohama Philippines honcho Satoshi Miura thanked and congratulated the LausGrup and the Laus Family for nurturing Tire City Yokohama Dau.
During the celebration, outstanding and loyal Tire City Yokohama Dau employees were recognized for their years of service: Junie Valdez, 32; Bernabe Canlas, 28; Annabel Paras, 23; Benedicto Cayanan, 22; and Ricky Espino, 17.
“As we welcome you to more years of Tire City, we promise to keep you on the road for that important journey you will take each time,” Laus concluded. (JTD)
